Swan Lake Saint Paul Theatre reviews
McGraw put on an amazing set.
Swan's set was incredible, going from classics, to favorites and becoming deeply personal in the end. The band played strong with all their hits and demonstrated their worthiness to be on Swan Lake's tour, showing themselves capable of being a headline act on their own. His voice held out incredibly for the 90 minutes of pure power he delivered, leaving the audience enthralled by the end of the evening. I would have liked a more affordable program so the crowd could learn a bit more about the band and the tour, especially given the long wait between acts. The only disappointment of the night was his choice of which hits to leave out. While he was spellbinding with "Tiny Dancer", it really didn't fit the theme of the tour. The backdrop scenes were incredible, simple yet fitting and often awe-inspiring. The band was first rate, holding nothing back. I would have also liked to have seen a few more personal introductions.
